Anjo Azul Hostel is located at Rua Luz Soriano in the historical heart of the city of Lisbon and in one of its most typical quarters "Bairro Alto".

First of all go to downtown Lisbon also called 'Baixa'. Look for Praça do Rossio (Rossio Square) which is a renewed metro station worth a visit or a trip. Then go up to Chiado quarter, it can be reached walking or by lift (Elevador da Gloria), a very old one built by Eiffel - yes, the same engineer that built the Eiffel Tower.

Look for Praça Luis de Camoes - the Chiado metro station has one of its exits in front of it - which is the most famous square in this area and a meeting point for the night. There you can ask your way. Rua da Rosa and Largo do Calhariz are 2 other references.

The hostel has access to all types of transport - bus, metro and train - to the whole city and surroundings. It is 10 minutes' walking from the Docas, (docks where restaurants and night life can be found) and Tagus River with ferry-boats available to the South on the other bank driving you to the beaches of Costa da Caparica. Lisbon's international airport is about 20 minutes away depending on traffic.
