Mrs Vandara, the owner, aspires to make Vanvisa Guesthouse your home-from-home in Luang Prabang during your stay. Her staff are on hand with friendly Lao hospitality to ensure your stay is comfortable and hassle-free. The inner courtyard of the house has an open air dining area. This is an ideal for sampling a delicious Lao meal or just for sitting back and relaxing with a book. In the communal area, Mrs Vandara houses a loom where she often weaves and demonstrates weaving techniques. In this friendly and informal atmosphere she holds weaving and cooking classes by arrangement, in order to spread her knowledge and love of food, textiles and Lao culture.
